Our Story

Nexus Management was founded in 1989 and initially operated out of the garage of a private home performing information technology project work.

Years later Nexus evolved into an information technology managed service provider. In 1995 Nexus won its first contract providing site centric IT support and established full operations in 1998 including our first Help Desk Service team located in South Portland, Maine.

Offering Help Desk Services as our first remote service marked the second evolution for Nexus. Continued growth and expansion led to the need for larger premises and a purpose built data center. In 2003 doors opened to our current facility and data center in Brunswick, Maine.

Advances in technology and IT business practices led to Nexus once again evolving in 2004 to offer all services remotely.

Today our data center in Brunswick, Maine drives services over the internet to customers in 33 countries around the world, simplifying computer usage and allowing our customers to manufacture their products or deliver their services without worrying about IT.
